EURIE 2016 was held in Istanbul

Eurasian Higher Education Summit (EURIE 2016) was held in Istanbul between 17-19 February 2016.  VR Masters was one of the silver sponsors and was present at the event with three booths.

EURIE 2016 was a very successful summit with hundreds of international university representatives and government officials in attendance.Dr. Patricia B. Licuanan Chairperson, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Republic of the Philippines (below) visited VRM’s Virtual Reality booth. While there, VRM founder Ali C. Hantal gave her brief information about the VR technologies.

Mr. Hantal also met with Mr. Orhan Erdemir – Turkish Deputy Minister of Education and Prof. Dr. M. İ. Safa Kapıcıoğlu – Deputy Chairman of Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK), and shared Mezun Group‘ s vision on how virtual reality will re-shape the world of education.

Charles F. (Chuck) Hunter, U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul attended the conference as well. (above)

Ömer Cihad Vardan – President, Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK) visited the Study in Turkey Pavillion.

On the last day of the Summit, VRM’s founder Ali C. Hantal gave a speech on Marketing & Recruitment Strategies Utilizing New Technologies, where he provided detailed information on Virtual Reality. The session was recorded with a 360 camera.

VR Master’ s Virtual Reality Exhibition, which was brought in partnership with Mezun Group and SpacewalkerVR, was located in the registration area and was received with great interest by the summit attendees. President of Eurasion Universities Union (EURAS) and the Chairman of Istanbul Aydin University Dr. Mustafa Aydin also visited the Mezun VR booth.
